Frances G. Laserson
Ms. Frances G. Laserson is president of The Moody's Foundation, overseeing its charitable giving program and the community affairs and corporate social responsibility programs she designed for Moody's Corporation.
Andrew Milivojevich, P.Eng, M.Sc, CQE, CSSBB, MBB, A.S.Q. Fellow
Mr. Andrew Milivojevich is the President of The Knowledge Management Group Inc. He leads client initiatives in six sigma, work simplification, product development, and R&D. He is a professional engineer with a masters degree in quality and applied statistics. He has over 25 years of experience. Andrew is also an author and co-author in a number of publications and the books Emotional Sigma and Quality by Experimental Design.
Andrew is a fellow of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and is recognized by ASQ as having achieved professional distinction and pre-eminence in the technology, theory, education, application or management of quality. He received citations for his exemplary work advancing quality and Six Sigma, and for the innovative use of statistical methods. He is also a graduate advisor to the College of Engineering Center for Quality and Applied Statistics at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
Mr. Christopher Allen is a 21-year veteran of the financial services industry. He has held various rolls in marketing, product development, and management at Pine River, Countrywide, Bank of Manhattan and other Wall Street firms. Mr. Allen holds a M.B.A. from Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a B.A. in History from Cornell University. Mr. Allen was a Captain in the US Army and has a daughter with autism.
Jeremy is a senior partner at the international law firm Withers Bergman. He chairs the firm's Fiduciary Litigation and Risk Management practice group. He practices in the area of complex litigation in state and federal courts, both at the trial and appellate levels. As the result of a rigorous peer review process, Jeremy has been designated a Connecticut/New England Super Lawyer for several years in the area of business litigation.
In a non-litigation context, Jeremy advises businesses on a wide variety of business and employment issues. He also advises directors, officers, shareholders, trustees, beneficiaries and investors on fiduciary issues and conduct.
Jeremy is committed to ongoing support of companies, programs and initiatives that promote improvements in health.
Ms. Lauren Brumbach is a certified Elementary Education and Special Education teacher. She has taught primary through high school grades as well as working with children with special needs for eleven years.
Lauren has two sons, 13 and 7. Her older son was diagnosed with PDD-NOS in 2000. Shortly after his diagnosis in December, Lauren visited a DAN! Doctor, started him on the GF/CF diet and began intensive ABA. Within ten days of being on "the diet" her older son began to speak after having an expressive language of only 5 words!
She has attended several DAN! Conferences and worked closely with physicians and other experts in trying new methodologies related to finding a cure for autism. Lauren has presided on the Board of the Junior League of Reading for 5 years. She also served as President of the Berks Autism society and spearheaded the first Walk for Autism Awareness in Berks County, Pennsylvania. It is now headed into its 10th year for the walk. When Lauren is not busy working, volunteering and spending time with her children she enjoys running, reading and cooking. Lauren lives in Reading, Pennsylvania with her two boys.
Linda B. Gornitsky, Ph.D.
Linda B. Gornitsky, Ph.D., is president and founder of LBG Associates, a consulting firm which specializes in the development of strategic corporate citizenship and community relations programs, benchmarking, community attitude and evaluation studies, image-building/communications campaigns and efficient management practices. Clients include: Altria, Aramark, BMW, Con Edison, FedEx, Moody's, Neutrogena, Nielsen Research Media, Pitney Bowes, State Street Corp, Timberland, Toyota and Verizon.
Prior to establishing LBG Associates in 1993, Dr. Gornitsky directed a variety of corporate communications programs, developed strategic contributions programs, managed contributions, public issues and public affairs departments and identified new management directions. She developed and managed strategic contributions programs for Citibank and Pfizer.
Dr. Gornitsky frequently speaks, conducts training workshops and publishes on various aspects of philanthropy. She has published ten groundbreaking studies. The most recent one (2011) is on developing successful strategic partnerships. Dr. Gornitsky has designed a certificate program for corporate grant makers at New York University and is teaching classes on strategic philanthropy/volunteerism.
Dr. Gornitsky is very involved in her local community. She currently sits on the board of three local nonprofit organizations and holds executive positions at two of them. She was honored in May 2007 for her commitment to the Stamford, CT community.
Lori Mitchell-Keller is Senior Vice President and Head of SAP’s Global Industry Business Unit for Retail, leading solution management for all SAP Retail solutions. Her team focuses on delivering end-to-end solutions that help retailers build unified channels, customer-driven supply networks, customer insight, and integrated merchandising and marketing. Mitchell-Keller also currently serves on the National Retail Federation Board of Directors.
Previously at SAP, Mitchell-Keller led Line-of-Business Solution Management for Idea-to-Delivery, overseeing the delivery of end-to-end solutions in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Manufacturing, Procurement, Operational Performance Management and Business Networks. Prior to joining SAP, she spent ten years in leadership positions with Manugistics and JDA Software Group, including responsibilities as Chief Marketing Officer, Sr. VP/Head of Product Development and Sr. VP/Head of Product Management. Mitchell-Keller holds a master’s degree in management from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, a master’s degree in operations research from Stanford University, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Iowa State University, all in the United States.
Nancy O'Hara, M.D.
Dr. Nancy O'Hara is a board certified Pediatrician. Until January 2010, she was the Assistant Medical Director for Defeat Autism Now!® Physican Training and the Physican Mentoring Director for Defeat Autism Now!® in Europe. Prior to her medical career, Dr. O'Hara taught children with autism. She graduated with highest honors from Bryn Mawr College and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society from the University of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine. She earned a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. After residency, chief residency and general pediatric fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. O' Hara was in private practice for 7 years. Dr. O'Hara has worked with Dr. Sidney Baker and other practitioners in the research and care of children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder for many years. Since 1999 she has dedicated her practice to the integrative and holistic care of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
J. Paul Gorman
Mr. J. Paul Gorman is a portfolio manager at AllianceBernstein L.P. Prior to joining AllianceBernstein, Paul was a partner at GMG Investment Advisors, an investment manager. He also founded and was chairman of By the Bridge Limited, a UK-based therapeutic foster care organization. During Paul's twenty years in financial services he traded and invested in Government, Corporate and Emerging Market debt at UBS, Lehman Brothers, ABB and Barclay Investments.
He is a former director of a New York state-based ambulance service and a former director of the Foundation for Educating Children with Autism. Mr. Gorman's oldest son is living with autism.
J. Randolph Burnham Ph.D.,P.C.
Dr. Randy Burnham is a Westport psychologist providing individual and couples Gestalt psychotherapy for adolescents and adults. He was cofounder of My Next Phase, a web-based tool for personality driven nonfinancial retirement planning. In addition to conceptualizing and designing the website, Dr. Burnham developed and validated its proprietary My Next Phase Personality Survey and co-authored My Next Phase: The Personality-Based Guide to Your Best Retirement. He was also the first psychologist at Riverview Hospital for Children and developed programs for autistic children.
Dr. Burnham was an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Northern Michigan University where he developed and taught courses in Psychology of Interpersonal Relations; Psychotherapeutics; Issues and Techniques; Advance Child Psychology and Abnormal Psychology. In addition, he provided emergency and diagnostic services to college students in the university organizations.
Mr. Satya Gade, is part of Moody's skills-based volunteerism team. Mr. Gade was instrumental in the design and implementation of the Autism360 website. Mr. Gade is a senior level professional with IT and Management experience in developing and launching Software Applications and overseeing diverse software development teams. Mr. Gade is passionate about volunteering, and has tremendous compassion for parents who raise kids with health issues.
